Radio Dispatch System

Radio Dispatch System (RDS) is a solution for real-time command and dispatch of various types of operational personnel or fleets through dedicated consoles and radio networks. It is commonly used in police and fire departments, aviation ground handling, transportation, energy, manufacturing, and large-scale operations (e.g., airports, harbors, wind farms, etc.) to coordinate personnel, vehicles, or equipment on-site via radio networks (usually DMR, TETRA, P25, or traditional analog systems).

Instant Speech Modulation
  • Supports One-to-One, One-to-Many, and Total Broadcasting.
  • Dispatchers can select from a single intercom, a group, or a full network of broadcasts through the console.

Positioning and Monitoring
  • You can set the electronic fence and playback of the moving track.
  • Combined with GPS or indoor positioning, you can keep track of the location of your personnel and vehicles at all times.

event management
  • Supports recording archiving for easy tracking and auditing.
  • The Emergency Call button automatically pushes a message to the dispatch center.
Integrate with phone systems, recording servers, and even IoT platforms.
  • Combined with SCADA or enterprise information security system, it forms a complete operation center.
Integration of different brands of radio
  • By pairing with different IP Gateways, you can integrate most of the radio devices on the market, such as Kenwood, Hytera, Icom, Sailor and other brands.

System ArchitectureIP-based decentralized architecture for cross-regional and cross-country deploymentIP-based centralized/decentralized architecture for higher flexibilityDirectly connected to a console from a base station, usually limited to a single field.
Functional integrityVoice Dispatch, GPS Positioning, Remote Control, Voice Recording, Telephone Interconnection, Event ManagementFunctionality similar to SmartPTT, but more flexible in terms of APIs and customization.Basic voice dispatch, group/individual calling, little to no recording or data integration
Positioning and MonitoringSupports outdoor GPS and indoor positioning with track playback and electronic fencingSupports GPS/indoor positioning with more complete third-party APIsNo Positioning Function
Recording and AuditingFull support, including time stamping and search functionFully supported with advanced reporting moduleSimple recording is only available on some systems and usually requires additional equipment.
Events/workflowConfigurable for automatic dispatching of emergencies and integration with SCADA/fire/securityEnhanced task dispatching module with work order systemNo, voice only.
ExpandabilityIdeal for medium to large organizations, multinational or multi-site use.Suitable for large and customized units (e.g. energy, petrochemical, government)Ideal for small, single domains that are not network-capable
