PMLN7131 - Designed for the XPR 5000\/M86 series of radios, the PMLN7131 offers complete mounting flexibility, in-vehicle mobility, and full control of the mobile radio. The radio main unit can be mounted in the most convenient location, such as behind the seat, under the dashboard or in the luggage compartment, while the control head can be mounted close to the user using a standard hanging clip (model HLN9073). The standard spring cable length is 1.8 m, which can be extended to 3 m. An optional extension cable is available to increase the distance by 5 m. The control head allows the user to control the vehicle from the rear of the vehicle. The control head allows the user to remain in communication while on the move in the vehicle. Ambulance crews, bus drivers, and logistics delivery drivers can take the control head to the back of the vehicle without being confined to the driver's seat. With a full keyboard, color screen, and channel and volume controls, this handheld control head has the same full-featured characteristics as a portable radio.
